This hood is designed for use with a linear actuator. This allows hood to be opened and closed with a motor. Requires linear actuators with bumper stops or hood pins.

Inner and outer pieces of the hood are bonded while its still in the mold for an extremely consistent product. Molds are also our fixture while bonding.

This hood will not accommodate factory latches. Hood mounting plates are fixed in the hood. You will have to oversize hinge holes for adjustment

Hood has a smooth finish on both sides, not to be confused with press molded.? This hood will come with a class “A” finish on both sides with the hardware built into the hood for mounting.

Your hood will come in a hand built crate to ensure a safe delivery. It will weigh 90-125 lbs and have handles on each side. This will likely require 2 people to move. When contacting us for a freight quote please keep in mind the freight company charges considerable more for a residential addresses and lift gates. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to pass that fee to our customers. If you require a residential drop off and or lift gate please let us know so you can avoid additional charges.

All parts are made of high quality Vinyl Ester Resin and Chop Strand Mat

and come out of the mold with a Class A finish

We go to great lengths to build a high quality part. We test fit to a minimum of 3 never wrecked Corvettes then we take the average of the 3 to tool from.

 It is imperative to remember we are working with 40 plus year old vehicles and back then the GM quality specs varied greatly to today’s standards.

Better to purchase one of our parts or else with our 

competitors you will have to bodywork everything.

You will not be able to scuff and paint. Test fitting is required prior to bodywork as well as throughout the bodywork process.

The likelihood of having to bodywork adjacent panels for the proper fit is very high and it is recommended a qualified Corvette Specialist install these parts.

Returned parts are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return freight. Altered parts are non-returnable.
